Op. Dr. Ahmet Tevfik Albayrak
Op. Dr. Ahmet Tevfik Albayrak is an Istanbul-based urologist and andrologist with advanced expertise in male genital aesthetic surgery, penile prosthesis surgery, and sexual medicine. He graduated from the distinguished Istanbul Boys High School in 2007 and received his MD from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2014. He completed his urology residency at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 2022, receiving extensive surgical training.
Thanks to his German language proficiency, he has advanced his academic and clinical knowledge by participating in international training programs at leading German universities such as Aachen University and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In 2025, he received advanced training in complex penile reconstructive and prosthetic surgery under Prof. Dr. Danier Osmanov in Lübeck, Germany.
That same year, Dr. Ahmet Tevfik Albayrak was awarded the prestigious Barbara and Steve Wilson Educational Foundation Fellowship, a scholarship awarded to only three physicians worldwide. As part of this fellowship, he attended a high-level masterclass in subcoronal penile prosthesis surgery led by Dr. Sean Park. He is currently pursuing advanced surgical training as a fellow of world-renowned penile prosthesis surgeon Prof. Steven K. Wilson.
Dr. Ahmet Tevfik Albayrak's clinical interests include penile aesthetic surgery (lengthening and thickening), penile prosthesis implantation, and microsurgical treatments for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease, premature ejaculation, and male infertility. He is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in regenerative sexual medicine; he specializes in stem cell and exosome therapies and provides training in these innovative methods to physicians from abroad.
With his patient-centered approach and innovative perspective, he develops minimally invasive and non-invasive surgical techniques, aiming to shorten patient recovery times while increasing treatment effectiveness. He has published numerous articles and academic book chapters in international scientific journals.
